Designed by Foad Rafii, and reaching up 41 stories, the Spring Condominiums are one of the older residential sky-scrapers built in downtown Austin (and they were completed in 2009).
At one time, not too long ago, this was the crown Jewel of Austin Condos. A luxury building with most of the 5th floor devoted to resident’s amenities: a pool, fitness room, private lounge. You get the idea.
But, after going up and down thousands of floors in dozens of Austin’s hi-rise condos, the subtle differences become apparent.
When one it was enough to have the basic extras, now residents want more. Take the recently completed Seaholm Condos, less than 1/4 mile away, and visible from most south-easterly facing units. They have a dedicated dog park where you can take your furry friend, private conference rooms for conducting business when you work from home, and more lifestyle businesses within walking distance.
But don’t let these differences discourage you from living at the Spring Condos. They make up for these small differences in amazing ways.
Like the floor to ceiling windows in each and every unit that flood the space with natural light.
Or the fact that there is a hidden microwave in every kitchen.
Or the Two guest suites that resident occupants can reserve for friends and family to stay in while visiting.
All in a gated, secure building with a full service concierge. In fact, you can’t access any other floor except your own, or the common areas unless you have a special master key fob.
Little known facts:
- The Spring condominiums prices are some of the more affordable for an Austin Tower. But like with all buildings, the higher you go, the more you pay.
- Each residence has a private outdoor balcony.
